FAQ

Do I need a prescription to buy Ultimate Joint Health?

No, you can buy our products without a veterinary prescription

My dog is on prescription medication from the vets is it safe to use Ultimate Joint Health along with the prescription medications?

There is no evidence that Ultimate Joint Health Chews should not be used with any prescription medications. It is possible that dogs which are already on medication for arthritis may see more benefit from taking Ultimate Joint Health Chews in addition to medications such as Non Steriodal Anti-Inflammatories Drugs and Paracetamol. Its always sensible to contact your vet before taking supplements / vitamins if you are unsure about possible interactions with current medications, they will be happy to help

Can you divide the chews?

All our chews are easily dividable as they are soft. Our products are designed to be very safe and there is no harm in giving a smaller dog a whole or even multiple chews. However feeding less than our guideline might result in an ineffective dosing.

Are there any side effects to Ultimate Joint Health Chews?

Our chews have a very high safety margin, non of the components are considered to be toxic to dogs and if consumed in very large quantities the most likely side effects would be diarrhoea and possibly vomiting. If you are concerned about over consumption we recommend you seek veterinary advice.
